The South African Orthopaedic Journal (SAOJ), established in 2002, serves as the official publication of the South African Orthopaedic Association (SAOA). Recognized as the sole peer-reviewed orthopaedic journal on the African continent, it aims to advance the science and practice of orthopaedic surgery within South Africa and beyond.
