How to access a SAMJ Journal
As a SAMA member, you are eligible to access all the SAMJ Journals hosted on the MPC platform.
Follow the below process to access a SAMJ Journal.
Follow these steps:
Step 1
Log into your profile on the MPC platform.
To do so:
- Visit the MPC platform at https://www.mpconsulting.co.za/
- Click on Login in the top right corner.
- Enter your username and password and click on Log in.
Step 2
Click on the Menu bar (3 stripes) on the top left-hand side.
Step 3
Click on Journals on the left-hand menu to view all available journals.
You will be directed to the Journals Page.
Step 4
Select the South African Medical Journal option within the Filter by Category dropdown box. All available SAMJ journals will be displayed on the page.
Locate the journal of your choice and click on Read More to view the journal product page.
Step 5
The product page will provide you with an overview and important information on the specific SAMJ Journal.
Click on Access (right-hand side) to be directed to the journal article and CPD Questions.
Once you have gained access to the relevant SAMJ Journal, you can click to read the journal article [1] and complete the CPD questionnaire [2]
